Trace and discussion in progress on FSB – it looks relatively similar to some old DIY designs out there, which is the cause of much of the controversy.  Well, not so much what they are based on, but more so the lack of acknowledgement by JHS.  Make what you want of that. 

The short story is that it looks like a Bazz Fuss followed by a Tim Escobedo Pushme Pullyou – anyway, keep an eye on the thread for updates.
