Here is a layout for the Brunetti Mercury (should fit in a 1590B size box). Frank_NH has uploaded another verified, slightly modded version in the Forum section a while back. This is the best video I could find (in Thai language): Start biasing JFETs at 9V.
Happy Fuzz Friday, everyone. Today’s layout is a cool variation of the Fuzz Face circuit, but with the addition of a Big Muff tone stack and a gain recovery stage. There’s also a Mud pot that starves Q3 for extra tweaking. Board mounted pots and 1590B friendly. Here’s the schematic for reference.
Here’s a great sounding overdrive from Blackout Effectors. It features a 2-band EQ and the standard drive and volume controls.
