I used Kit Rae schematics, but I did not follow the same component numbering, as I don’t find it all that intuitive. Kit did it that way for a good reason, this way works better for my brain. There was a an incorrect value in the factory schematic. It is now corrected and the layout is verified by slammer88.
A modified layout for the old EHX Pulsar which is infamous for its LFO ticking bleedtrough. There is two mods that hopefully can solve it. Layout for the first version of Small Stone which was produced between 1974(?) and 1978. Layout is based on schematic from Lectric Fx Note that original had long gone obsolete 8 pin OTA chips so this layout is modernized for easy to get LM13700s.
I think this is my favourite Electro-Harmonix Big Muff. I built this using vintage 2N3565 glob top resistors and opted for some large vintage ceramic capacitors where possible (mainly for looks).
