The Hornby Skewes Zonk Machine is pretty much a MKI Tone Bender with some value changes – most notably the 1n capacitor on the input and resistors to collectors. Got some request for Overdrive and Distortion in the the new JHS 3 range. Was a bit hesistant at first since those are basically a Tubescreamer and a Rat with some simple mods….not “mostly own designed”;-). First up a Tubescreamer….sorry JHS 3 Series Overdrive.
