BJFE: Folk Fuzz 3.5%
I’ve not tried any BFE circuits, so perhaps it’s time… The link to the schematic is here. Transistors can be germanium or silicon, and the two acting as hard clipping diodes can probably be replaced with regular silicon diodes to taste (the blue ones). BJFE FOLK FUZZ 3.5% – VERO LAYOUT
Electro Harmonix Bad Stone
This is a monster! It is based on the schematic by Lectric Fx which includes a recovery stage with internal trimpots to set the output volume.Schematic is avaiable HERE.
Catalinbread Heliotrope
This circuit is quite infamous for being quite noisy with oscillator bleedthrough just as for most Bit Crushers. ,And to make things worse, this one has a built in fuzz circuit that amplifies noise even more. Hopefully, the separate ground connections for the fuzz/output buffer section and the the oscillator will tame some noise.
