A biker fuzz if ever there was one. This week’s Fuzz Friday layout is the Black Sheep from Black Arts Toneworks. It’s great on both guitar and bass and features 3 stacked gain stages with a 4 position switch dictating the input capacitor. Here’s the schematic for reference.
The Quantum Mystic is probably the most tricked out DOD250 around. It was developed with Mike Scheidt from the band Yob and based on his Grey Spec 250. It features an active 3-band EQ section and can create tones ranging from boost, to classic distortion, to modern doom metal tones.
I haven’t made a detailed project in a while, so for Fuzz Friday here’s the One-Knobber. It’s based on the old Dr. Tony Balls stripboard layout that covered the ColorSound One-Knob, D*A*M Meathead and Dark Meathead, and a one-knob adaptation of the ’66 Vox ToneBender, and I’ve added the Ritual fuzz by Black Arts Toneworks. … Read more
