Death by Audio Octave Clang
There was already a layout in the forum section but not on the main page. This version should easily fit in a 1590B box. Original FSB thread and schematic available here.
DBA Octave Clang
For Fuzz Friday here’s the Octave Clang from Death By Audio. It’s a transformer based octave fuzz utilizing a 741 opamp. Fairly low parts count and should fit in a 1590B.
Death by Audio Kill Kill Filter
It’s a Fuzz and Filter Friday! Here’s DBA’s Kill Kill Filter. At it’s heart is a stripped down Big Muff (only one distortion section without clipping diodes) with a footswitch selecting 2 different pots in the tone stack. Schematic can be found over on FSB.

Death By Audio Apocalypse – On-Hold
Original FSB thread and schematic available here. Rotary Switch is 2P5T and they are not always numbered. I’ve called the 2 poles A & C. When the switch is on “A-1” position on the other side is on “C-1” position… and so on. Original circuits’ schematics use Ge diodes but the Apocalypse’s one doesn’t. Need … Read more
Death by Audio Robot
For Fuzz Friday, here’s another wild and wacky one from DBA: The Robot is a low fidelity 8 bit pitch transposer with absolutely no feelings what-so-ever. It is completely synthetic and transforms any input into a spuree of resynthesized robot jargon. Originals need a dedicated power supply as the HT8950 chip runs off 2.4-4 volts … Read more
