Tools, Tones and Toys for Guitarists
Got a request for the classic DS-1 with some Keeley mods and since my earlier DS-1 layout doesn’t have board mounted pots, it seemed like a good idea. The flip-flop switching has been removed. Here’s the schematic for reference.
Happy Fuzz Friday, everyone! Got a few requests for this one. It’s a bit like a fuzz in the way a Big Muff is a fuzz–bridges the gap between fuzz and distortion. And it’s somewhat similar to a Big Muff with two gain stages pushing a BMP tone stack. Schematic can be found over on FSB.
Spotted this over at General Guitar Gadgets and thought it sounded nice. It’s a modified big muff that supposed to be tuned for bass, and from the clip it sounds pretty nice, but then again how can you go wrong with anything with big muff origins.

Came across this schematic over on the Tagboard Forum and thought it’d be a good addition here. Heavy distortion tones on tap with some clipping options and a full 3-band EQ. Switch is a SPDT on/on.
