Tools, Tones and Toys for Guitarists
Got a request for this one and we can always do with more reverb. It’s a simple one-knob BTDR-2 based circuit and should fit easily in a 1590B. Reverb brick and pot is populated on the solder side. Schematic for reference.
Thought this one was interesting so I gave it a go. It’s a fairly typical Rockett overdrive (.45 Caliber, Animal, Blue Note, etc.) with a fairly typical MOSFET boost (AMZ Booster, EQD Black Eye, etc.). Fits in a 125B with dual footswitches. The 2N708’s isn’t that common but any low gain NPN silicon should work like 2N2369 or 2N1613. Try hfe in the 50-100 ballpark.
