For Fuzz Friday here’s the Roger Mayer Axis Fuzz redone with board mounted pots. Schematic for reference. Didn’t make a drill template for this one, but the pots are 1.2″ apart and should be an east fit in a 1590B.

For Fuzz Friday here’s Roger Mayer’s Spitfire. It’s pretty similar to the Mongoose, but with a different transistor/IC pair and a few value changes. Apparently it sounds really good on chords and doesn’t get too thick. Here’s the schematic for reference.
Got a request for this one. It’s the bass version of the Voodoo distortion. It’s a very popular bass effect, especially in Japan apparently, but also sounds great with guitar too.
