Requested and verified by AlexS Original is a buffered effect with input and output connections wired straight to input and output jacks. But you can add a bypass switch, just connect input and output connections to the switch.
Got a request for this one a while ago. Looks like a more versitale alternative to Boss HM2 eq. original has transistor gyrators but I went with op amps for less space and smaller parts count. Here is demo video by MTK comparing them through a Revv G4 clone.
One modification is done; a transistor gyrator (Q4) replaces stock op amp gyrator due to board space.
Got a little simple boost/preamp for your Thursday. Should be a pretty easy fit in a 1590A. J113 alternatives would be J201, 2N5457, and probably a couple other JFETs that are obsolete. 😑
