Here’s a really great sounding overdrive from Hudson Electronics. The Sidecar is loosely based on the Tube Screamer with a 2-band Baxendall EQ and some interesting soft clipping. This pedal comes in two options, one that has an onboard charge pump for 24v operation and one without so here is two layouts for it…. *Edit* 9v version is now verified.
The Hudson Electronics Broadcast is a great little pedal – while now overshadowed by the Dual Broadcast, which has the high and low gain settings on a foot switch with individual level controls, it’s essentially the same under the hood. I quite liked the single Hudson Electronics Broadcast; the Dual is just that little bit more practical. It can run from clean through to downright nasty tones. The low-cut is really great too.
