DAN ARMSTRONG: Red Ranger
Bass, treble and full range boost – a 1970s classic from Dan Armstrong, although somewhat overlooked compared to its more famous brethren, the Orange Squeezer and Green Ringer. DAN ARMSTRONG RED RANGER – VERO LAYOUT RED RANGER VIDEO DEMO
Fuzzlord Effects FET 120 Overdrive – transistor version
Another one traced by evilarsen. A J FET preamp emulator loosely based on Orange OR120. This one is already verified.
Lell X-Metal
An old russian Boss MT-2 derivate. The eq section and the general topology is pretty close to the original. But cap and resistor values differs quite a lot in most places and the gain control looks like it is borrowed from a Boss DS1.
VOX: Super Beatle Distortion Booster

So much so that I used the layout and transistor selection from the D*A*M version. Interesting when you look at the schematic, as the distortion effect is first in the signal chain, ahead … Read more
Mini EVH
Per request. A DIY project posted by Dylan159 at FSB a while back. It is based on Bajaman’s EVH OD but tweaked and simplified. Schematic and more info HERE.

This allows you to drop the line level signal down to instrument level, send it out to whichever stompboxes you want to use, then back and amplified back up to line level. Schematic and discussion here. Made two versions, one … Read more
ROLAND: BeeBaa AF-100
I’ve posted layouts for a stripped-back version of the Roland BeeBaa, but never for the full BeeBaa. So here it is. The Roland BeeBaa has a couple of extra options, not generally found on fuzzes of the era, mainly the treble boost and tone control. The switching swaps between a treble boost and a fuzz … Read more
