We always recommend trying the boards out before soldering everything in to the enclosure. Stumbled on to an older Effdub design. This one’s based loosely on the Hot Cake and should deliver similar overdrive sounds. Could even solve the oscillation issues a few folks experienced with our original Hot Cake layout.
