Verified by Drago. A word of caution though (thnaks Sesh!), make sure to use a proper CD 4049BE. Some reputable sellers like Banzai Music sells chips that simply wont work as intended.
Kazan Booster 4 transistor version
Now verified with a catch. Couldn’t get it work until I replaced the diode connecting to the base of Q3 with a jumper. Also, for more volume, increase volume control to 10k-25k.

A really good sounding fuzz found in old soviet Borisov Formanta guitars. Added a pre gain control in front and a cap blend for the body control in the tonestack.
