Lovepedal
Lovepedal Super 6
Here’s a simple MOSFET overdrive from Lovepedal. Should be a quick and easy build in a 1590B. The board is designed to fit vertically in the enclosure with this kind of pot soldered on alternating sides of the board (Intense and Volume on the component side, Tone on the solder side). Oh, and the electrolytic … Read more
Hermida/Lovepedal Mosferatu (3-knob)
Came across the schematic (here on FSB) for this and thought I’d lay it out. Essentially a Son of Screamer but with MOSFETs and germanium diodes for clippers, a modified gain control and a few value tweaks. FYI, the transfer pdf is in the Lovepedal folder, and use the AMZ Son of Screamer drill template.
Lovepedal Zendrive 2
The Zendrive 2 is a big box version of the Zendrive, using a 12AX7 internally. Sadly the tube is only being used for clipping, replacing the BAT41 and 1N34a diodes in the small box Zendrive. But according to reliable sources, it sound very good, with some harmonic mojo happening. Other than the tube clipping, there’s … Read more
Lovepedal Tchula
Another Electra variation from Lovepedal. It’s described as a two-stage COT50… I guess the “stages” are the different ways to bias the transistor off the emitter. The stages are switchable via footswitch in the originals, but if you put it on a toggle switch you should be able to fit it in a 1590A. Here’s … Read more
Lovepedal Jubilee
Here’s Lovepedal’s Jubilee–pretty close circuit-wise to the Purple Plexi and Black Magic. Should be a pretty quick build. Note, if it sounds too dark, replace the 47nF cap with a 4.7nF cap. Schematic here.
Lovepedal Jubilee
Schematic available here. 20/02 Layout updated! Changed the 47nF cap to 4n7 as suggested by Music6000
Lovepedal Dover Drive
Here’s a pretty interesting overdrive from Lovepedal (Hermida). The signal goes through a dual PNP silicon transistor stage (don’t worry, it’s still a negative ground effect), then into a op amp gain stage with soft clipping in the feedback loop, with a Rat-style tone control, followed by an output buffer. Schematic can be found on … Read more
